So what they the Lord was crucified?

Let’s have a quick look into this subject that is written on the bible.

Jonah was a type of Jesus.Jesus said that the sign of Jonah will be

given to those asking for a sign.Jesus speaks of Himself as a Temple to

be rebuilt in three days.

Jesus prophesied about 3 days and 3 nights buried in the tomb

Matthew 12:40“For as Jonah was three days and

three nights in the belly of the great fish; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

Jesus prophesied about His resurrection.

John 2:19 (NKJV)19 Jesus answered and said to

them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

Fulfillment of Jesus prophecy.

John 2:21-22 (NKJV)21 But He was speaking of the temple of

His body. 22 Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.
