Odysseus Maritime Training Center (OMTC) is a maritime training center located in Cyprus. Established in Limassol in

2007, it already enjoys the confidence of its clients for the provision of quality services in the shipping industry in Cyprus

and abroad. As a manifestation of its commitment to quality and continuous improvement, the company has developed a

Quality Management System in accordance with the International Standard ISO 9001:2008. The policy of ODYSSEUS is to

provide controlled and continually improving training services by enhancing high-technology teaching facilities,

properly equipped premises and properly qualified and well-experienced personnel, by promoting the safety of life and

property, protecting the environment.

Its primary purpose is to provide a wide range of independent training services to enhance the professional standing and

knowledge of seafarers and to customer satisfaction and expectations, always conforming to the highest standards and

applicable regulations, including the requirements of the STCW Convention, as amended, and in accordance with best

teaching practice. ODYSSEUS services have been recognised and utilised by ship management companies and other

entities in Cyprus and abroad.

In the years to come, ODYSSEUS aims at offering an ever-widening range of training services to the marine industry with

the purpose of further upgrading the standards of this industry and improving the professional skills and capabilities of

the seafarers.

ODYSSEUS offers a broad range of marine courses to meet the training requirements of the commercial marine industries.

Marine training at ODYSSEUS is conducted at the company premises in Limassol. The marine industry is diverse, complex,

and strictly regulated, in accordance with international standards. ODYSSEUS provides training services by designing and

delivering training courses as well as issuing respective Certificate/s related to:

Basic Safety Training, as per STCW 95 Section A-VI/1 Paragraph 2;

Crowd Management, Familiarization Training and Safety Training for Personnel,providing direct service to passengers in

passenger spaces as per STCW 95 Section A-V/3 Paragraphs 1,2,3.

and other training courses, as required.

ODYSSEUS has been approved to deliver such training and certification by the Cyprus Flag Administration.
