How Transfers Work• If you need to take a connecting bus line or the Metro Gold Line to getto your destination, ask your bus operator for a transfer when you payyour initial fare.

• Transfers are used to complete a one-way trip on two or more transitlines.

• Transfers are NOT valid for a return trip or for a continued trip on thesame bus line.

• Local transfers are only valid on Pasadena Transit buses and will allow you to connect onto other Pasadena Transit routes. You may not use a PasadenaTransit transfer to board the same route twice, in either direction.

• Inter-agency transfers sold on Pasadena Transit may be used on Metrobuses, Metro Gold Line or Foothill Transit (Inter-agency transfers fromthese agencies are also accepted on Pasadena Transit).
