WOW! Who can believe that just 12
months ago we were pulling into the
PA lane with our ponies for the first
time?!? A stable full of ponies, 60+
students, 8 horse shows hosted at PA, 5
camps, attendance at nearly 30
shows/events, a truckload of ribbons,
regional championships, two qualified
Royal Winter Fair ponies and countless
smiles, memories and laughs later here
we are! We want to send out the
biggest thank you to everyone who has
made it all possible! We feel truly
humbled to have so many wonderful
clients walk through our doors on a
weekly basis. Over the last year, we
feel like our “Partridge Family” has
become a place of happiness and

support and we wouldn’t want it any
other way. We continue to welcome
new clients & students every week with
wide open arms and wish them the
very best at PA. The past year has been
an incredible journey and we cannot
wait to see where we will be in the next
12 months! Cheers to year two!

Partridge $1000 Hunter Derby Day =
HUGE SUCCESS!
Review from October 7th: SO MUCH to be thankful for today at the inaugural Partridge Hunter Derby Day! We enjoyed a picture perfect day- The weather gods were certainly on our side today! We were so privileged to watch so many beautiful horse/pony & rider combinations tackle our challenging 2 round derby track. The twists, turns, hills, natural obstacles and sheer size of our derby ring sure made it an exciting event for spectators from start to finish. We applaud each and every competitor for a day of great riding. We would like to send out a huge Thank You to our judge Jannika McCrimmon, announcer Jen Eastwood-Fisher, in gate/jump crew Sarah MacNeil and all the competitors, parents and supporters who made our show such a success! Special Thank You goes out to our Sponsors- Pace Equine Supply, Greenhawk & Brantim Country Garden Centre. Another double thumbs up goes out to Digital Impressions Photography for their beautiful photography and fast uploading (pictures are all posted within 8 hours of the event!) We are so happy to hear everyone’s positive feedback about this event. There will certainly be more very exciting Hunter Derbies at PA in the following years (stay tuned for 2013 hunter Derby plans). At the end of a series of very long days filled with endless hours of hard work, its days like today that truly remind us of how much we have to be thankful for. Thank you to our “Partridge Family” who makes each of our days so full of joy! What a HUGELY SUCCESSFUL Halloween
Spooktacular Horse Show we had this past
Saturday! Although it was a long, slightly
wet, and cold day, everyone kept smiling
and the day ran smoothly. We had huge
entries (showing well into the dark) and the
best costume class ever! 20+ fabulously
spooktacular ponies (& a very special "mini"
reindeer) paraded around the arena
looking fabulous! Fantastic riding by so
many talented future champions! We have
seen so much progress in so many riders
and their mounts throughout the show
series. Special Thank You to all the
wonderful volunteers who make each show
possible- we cannot be more grateful for all
your help and support! We look forward to
seeing everyone at the Grand Finale "Mini
Royal" on November 17th!
GRAND FINALE “MINI-ROYAL"
November 17th featuring PA MEDAL FINALS
& the PA HUNTER CLASSIC! Special ribbons &
$150 prize money in the Hunter Classic! If
you've shown once in the Stepping Stone
Series up to today, then you are eligible to
enter PA MEDAL FINALS (4 separate Finals
will be held: My First Medal, Childrens,
Junior, and Adult) and the PA HUNTER
CLASSIC (for those who show in Short/Long
Stirrup, Pre Green or Modified Child/Adult).
Note: November Show starts at 8am
MEDAL FINALS Format:
Round 1: Jumping/Pole Phase (All riders
participate)
Round 2: Flat Phase (top ½ returns)
Round 3: Top 2 Test
HUNTER CLASSIC Format:
Each entry participates in Round 1
Top 10 combinations will return for
Round 2

This club offers riders a fun and educational experience to gain in-depth
knowledge of the behind the scenes stable management and care of

1st Annual BADGE DAY- SATURDAY DECEMBER 1st 2012
We encourage every Partridge student to take part in Badge Day. Badge
Days are composed of riding and horsemanship sections. Riding skills
appropriate for the level are practiced during regular riding lessons.
Horsemanship skills are developed during riding lessons as well as at Pony Pals
Horsemanship Club and additional independent learning. Partridge Badge
Days ensure that every PA student obtains a solid base of equestrian
knowledge while being challenged to further their skills and reach the next
level. Participants that successfully complete their Badge Level are rewarded
with a special certificate that corresponds to the testing level as well as a
written evaluation form. This is the link to our Levels
