Boarding TipsGo to any designated PART bus stop along your travelroute. Arrive at least five minutes before the bus isscheduled to leave.
Have exact change ready.Driver cannot make change.
Make sure you are boarding the correct bus. Each bus displays the route name above the windshield.Observe the destination sign carefully since more thanone bus route may stop at a particular bus stop.
After the bus has come to a complete stop and the door is open, grasp the handrail and carefully climb the stairs. If you have any questions about the route ordestination, ask the driver.
Lost and FoundFor lost articles, call 610-326-5413. Articles found may be picked up from the PART office located at 902 Farmington Avenue, Pottstown, PA 19464 between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM on weekdays.
Bus Service in Pottstown and adjacent communities is a publicly ownedand privately operated system. The Borough of Pottstown owns, funds andadministers the system. The day-to-day operations are the responsibility ofPottstown Area Rapid Transit, Inc. (PART).
Day LinesDaytime bus service is operated on five routes which offer service sixdays a week (Monday through Saturday). This Ride Guide includes a mapand schedules for each of the bus routes. The five bus routes are:
� High Street via Philadelphia Premium Outlets� Upland Square via North End � Stowe - Pottstown Center - Coventry Mall� East End Loop via North End� South End Loop via Home Depot
Night LinesThe Borough of Pottstown provides evening bus service betweenapproximately 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm Monday through Saturday. TheNight Lines differ from the regular weekday service, although many of thesame locations are served. This Ride Guide includes a map and schedulesfor each of the three Night Lines. The three bus routes are:
� High Street via Outlets Night Line� Stowe - Malls Night Line� East End Night Line
All bus routes operate to and from the Charles W. DickinsonTransportation Center in downtown Pottstown.
SEPTA Route 93 operates between Pottstown and Norristown whichallows travel to other parts of Montgomery County and the region.Information on SEPTA connecting service can be obtained by calling 610-279-8400.
Exact Fare PolicyDrivers can no longer make change for passengers. Have your exact fareready and deposit exact change in the fare box when boarding the bus.

** To be eligible for the Pennsylvania Senior Citizen Free TransitProgram, senior citizens must register with PART staff to obtain aCommonwealth of Pennsylvania ID Card by bringing approved proofof age to PART’s office. An application will be completed and the IDCard issued. For more information, stop by Pottstown Borough Hall,100 E. High Street, 3rd floor, 7:30a.m.- 4:00p.m. on weekdays or call 610-970-6512.
TransfersA transfer can be used to make a trip that requires the use of two PART bus routes. They are valid for only 90 minutes from the time ofpurchase, and should be purchased when paying your fare.
Transfers are issued for continuing one-way travel and are limited to oneper trip. Transfers cannot be used to make a round-trip on the same route.When using a Transfer, present it to the driver for inspection before placingit in the fare box. Transfers can be made at the following three locations:
• Charles W. Dickinson Transportation Center• North End Shopping Center• Sanatoga Village Shopping Center
Passengers transferring from SEPTA Route 93 must present a valid,Yellow Transfer, with the correct date and route punched. Other SEPTAtransfers and fare instruments (such as Tokens, TransPasses or TrailPasses)are NOT valid on PART buses.
ParatransitIn addition to operating five bus routes, a special curb-to-curb service isoffered for those persons who have a disability and are unable to ride thebus. Call PART at 610-326-5413 for information on how to becomeeligible to use this service.
Sundays/HolidaysPART does not operate on Sunday or on major holidays: New Years Day,Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
