The cup victory capped a fantastic end of season resurgence, ultimately finishing in seventh place in Division Two of the Northern League.

On the field, we hope to push for promotion back to the First Division. Off the field, we are looking to buttress our footballing ambition by securing the financial future of the club. These aims can be achieved with the support of local businesses like yourselves, raising our respective profiles in the wider community. We would greatly appreciate any support that you feel you can offer the club. We completely understand that is more difficult than ever for small businesses, and are therefore committed to doing everything we can to promote the businesses that are generous enough to sponsor us.

We are fortunate enough to have an extremely dedicated Committee, one of the best non-league grounds in the country which we share with Newcastle United Reserves, a rich and extensive history,

welcome to allotmentand a passionate, expanding and supportive community around the club. We also have a development team, West Allotment Celtic A, that will make its debut in 2013/14.

We have always been renowned in non-league circles as a well-run club, and continue to strive towards maintaining these standards. Last year, we won the Northern Leagues Hospitality Award, in recognition of our generosity towards visiting teams and guests. We have a comprehensive and routinely updated website, produce a well-received matchday programme, and release a glossy club magazine, Three Miles West, on a bi-monthly basis.

We have had our struggles in the past, and the future is far from secure, but with your help we have the makings of a successful football club that is the centre of the local community. Now really is a fantastic time to get involved with West Allotment Celtic, and we look forward to welcoming you onboard.

The Committee

3West Allotment Celtic were formed in 1928, the culmination of a merger between West Allotment Primitive Methodists and West Allotment Juniors. After moving to the newly-created Tynemouth & District League in 1935, the club began to grow in stature, ultimately joining the Second Division of the Northern Amateur League in 1938. World War II put a halt on progress, but Allotments success resumed thereafter, as they won the championship for four consecutive seasons between 1956 and 1960, along with the NFA Amateur Cup in 1957 and the NFA Minor Cup in 1958.

A number of players moved on in the sixties, and Allotment entered a period of decline as an unavoidable result. The club bounced back with a vengeance in the seventies, led by prolific forward Benny Williams. Allotment won the NFA Amateur Cup once more, and eventually won the coveted championship in 1982 in a nail-biting play-off, after a series of tantalising near misses in previous years. Celtic comfortably retained the title one year later.

Allotment ascended into the Northern Alliance, and won the Challenge Cup one year after promotion. The club went from strength to strength, winning the first of eight Alliance titles in 1987, never finishing lower than sixth in the league. After dominating the Northern Alliance for over a decade, manager Terry Mitchell guided Allotment into the Northern League in 2003/04.

To the surprise of many, Allotment swept to the Division Two title in their debut season, earning automatic promotion to Division One. Celtic enjoyed six fruitful years in the upper echelon, even finishing ninth on one occasion, but ultimately suffered relegation in 2011. Despite the setback, Allotment have begun the rebuilding process in style, winning the Ernest Armstrong Memorial Cup last May.

club history - in brief

4matchday sponsorship

matchday programme sponsor100 per match

- Your logo on the front cover of the matchday programme- A full page advert inside the matchday programme- Your business promoted via our Twitter feed- Complimentary match ticket- Complimentary matchday programme

match sponsorFrom 150 per match

- Your logo on the front cover of the matchday programme- A full page advert inside the matchday programme- Your business promoted on the PA system and our Twitter feed- Up to five complimentary match tickets- Complimentary matchday programmes- Complimentary food and drink before and after the match

match ball sponsor30 per match midweek - 40 per weekend match

- A half page advert inside the matchday programme - Your business promoted on the PA system - Two complimentary match tickets - Two complimetntary matchday programmes

5full season sponsorship

main shirt sponsorship2500 per season (monthly install. of 210 available)

- Your logo on the front of the home shirts- Regular and extensive season-long press coverage via the website and our Twitter feed- Four perimeter advertising boards at Whitley Park - the ground shared with Newcastle United Reserves- Full page advert in the matchday programme- Prominent advert on the website and Twitter- Four complimentary season tickets- Complimentary matchday programmes- VIP guest at our End of Season Dinner

tracksuit & training wear sponsorship800 per season (monthly install. of 70 available)

- Your logo on your choice of training wear or warm up gear- Regular and extensive season-long press coverage, including on matchdays- Two perimeter advertising boards- Prominent advert on the website, Twitter and in the matchday programme- Four complimentary season tickets- Complimentary matchday programmes- VIP guest at our End of Season Dinner

follow us on twitter @wacfcFollow our Twitter feed for the latest Celtic news and matchday commentaries - and get your businessnoticed by almost 1,000 followers

6off the field sponsorship

paulstonemanProudly sponsored by ECS Ltd

player sponsorship30 per season

Support your favourite player by having your company logo or name next to his profile in the matchday programme and

under his profile on the club website.

programme sponsorship100 per season for a full page advert50 per season for a half page advert

Promote awareness of your business with an advert in our 28-page, full-colour matchday programmes, as well as on our website and social media channels.
