We have been talking

about the “end times” for

decades but now the time

has come where the real

saints of God are being

tested and tried on every

hand. Oh you say that

you are a saint of God –

Show me your scars –

Paul said: “That I may

know him, and the power

of his resurrection, and

the fellowship of his suf-

ferings...” just this part

right here would make the average person run

for cover. Who wants to

suffer?

My topic for today is:

Where is your faith? 2

Scriptures: Esther 4:14-17:

it impossible to please

God. Knowing that this

is the case, we must do

everything within our

power to obtain the

kind of faith that will

please God. We are all

dealt with a measure of

faith to begin our faith

walk, however, it is up

to us to cultivate and

increase that measure.

Now the adversary will

always check to see if

we are walking by faith

or just talking a good

game. He will hinder,

nag, oppose, pull and

whatever else he can do

until we demonstrate

our unwavering confi-

dence toward God.

Elder Lansing Bell made

this statement to me

the other day and I had

to write it down. He

said, “God’s love is not

determined by our

circumstances, His love

is influenced by the

things that happen to us

or around us. He said

that “God’s love

remains the same and is

consistent and is just as

great before the fire as

it is after the fire.”

Verse 17 & 18 of the same

chapter says: “For our light

affliction, which is but for a

moment, worketh for us a far

more exceeding and eternal

weight of glory; while we look

not at the things which are

seen, but at the things which

are not seen: for the things

which are seen are temporal;

but the things which are not

seen are eternal.”

DEVINE ORDER

KNOW YOUR PLACE IN

GOD

God has already ordained our

purpose but we have got to

die (in our flesh) so that Christ

may rain supreme in our soul.

There is a process that every

child of God must go through

so that their faith can be culti-

vated and spiritual maturity

can be manifested in their

lives. While we are going

through our qualification

process – our making – you

know, purging all of the stuff

that is in us that has to come

out.

We go through all of these

test and trials to make us

BETTER NOT BITTER. God

has a place in the kingdom for

all of us and we must have the

faith to wait on the call.

While we are waiting we must

have a spirit of servitude

toward God and his people.

We must say to ourselves “I

don’t really have a full under-

standing of my work for God,

nevertheless, I will serve him

(like a person that waits on

tables) in all humility.” You

know it is hard to be a waiter

because the public can be so

ungrateful and come out of

some many bags (attitudes,

kiss my toe – if you please –

bow down to me because you

are my servant).

Studying the Principals of Giving:

Tithe -1st Fruits – Alms – Seeds “We have to strategically do what God says

pertaining to giving.”

We must not let our right hand know what our left hand is doing. What’s done in secret will be rewarded openly. In all of our getting, we must get understanding. God will destroy the devourer for our sake.

The First Fruits: Given out of gratitude and gener-osity

Scriptures: Rom 11:16, Det 18:4, Gen 40:3, 2Chr 31:5 and Jer 2:3

The 1st fruit giving is giving of your increase: God knows that you can be trusted when you give of your 1st fruits. Take the first fruit of your increase and give it to God, give it to a Ministry or Minister. It must be given separately from tithe.

Ex. When you receive your first check with a new increase, you should give the entire raise amount. We should give the 1st fruit of our increase to the Church.

Tithes: Given out of obedience - Scriptures: Mal 3:8-11 & Gen 1:28 Tithes are given out of obedience. You should rather have God’s Blessings on 90% that the curse on 100%!

Seeds: Given out of faith and reward - Scriptures: Mark 4:3-8 & Deut 1:11 Do it as unto GOD.

The biggest blessing is in Seed Giving. Seeds are planted and are given in faith; God guarantees a 30, 60 or 100% increase on the seed. Most important, the seed must be named or labeled, i.e. missionary, building fund…etc.

A seed comes back 30, 60 & 100 fold. There are different layers…3 parts make a fold….these blessings are exponential.

One can PLANT A SEED in ministry for FINANCES or ALMS can be designated…to a new home, a car, or to a person.

Alms: Given out of compassion - Scriptures: Mt: 6: 3& 4, Lk: 12:33 and Prov: 19:17 Alms can be a seed, but it must be done in private as a blessing. Your giving becomes and Alms if for instance, when you have your 1st fruit and you desire to bless the Ministry for a purpose, you have the option to give it to the Ministry, it then becomes an Alms.

Q & A 1. “What is the difference between tithe and a 1st fruit?”

A tithe is 10% of earning, 1st fruit is 10% of your increase. 2. “How do you determine the difference between a Seed or Alms in giving?” You should give Alms in Private. A Seed should be given give or planted in a Ministry that is God Ordained & God Purposed.
