Description of the site

On entering the site one passes through a wide level area of open grassland on the access track which passes through the large old established hedgerow containing a selection of various trees, etc. The site steepens with the gravel track running down in an extremely attractive glade of open grassland between mature oak woodland to the east and the established old hedgerow to the west. The track passes on down to the parking and turning area situated alongside the barn studio which is located at the bottom on the site. Directions From Market Hill, Sudbury proceed out of town towards Halstead. Turn left at the traffic lights at the bottom of Ballingdon Hill, signposted Middleton and Henny. Follow this road for about 33 miles, past The Henny Swan public house, after about ½ a mile there is a steep upward climb and at the top is a right turn signposted Twinstead.
