ABSTRACTWomen play significant role in agriculture and animal husbandry. World over
today, women are engaged at different level of agriculture . In Indian agriculturewomen play significant role in all agriculture activities like sowing, weeding, manureand fertilization application, harvesting, drying as well as livestock management likeshed cleaning fodder cutting, mulching e.t.c
During the year 2014, survey was conducted at Rampurdas village of Kotwaliblock district Bijnor in which 100 farm women were selected. On the basis of survey itwas found that 90.2% farm women participated in transplantation, 90.1% in harvesting,88.4% in grain storage and 87% in livestock management.
