Participation in Extra-Curricular ActivitiesAgreement

Extra-curricular activities are extremely important in helping children develop good working habits and life skills. Children involved in extra-curricular activities learn how to work as part of a team towards a common goal, leadership, time management, motivation and confidence. They can also learn valuable character traits such as pride, productivity, integrity and can also help children stay out of trouble.

This contract is a tool designed to encourage your child to participate in extra-curricular activities.

CHILD EXPECTATIONS:

1. I agree to pick at least 1 extra-curricular activity during the school-year.2. I agree to follow through on the duration of the specified activity.3. I will discuss my concerns and fears about participating with my parent(s).

PARENT EXPECTATIONS:

1. I will support my child in the extra-curricular activity of his/her choice.2. I will provide options for my child to get involved and participate in extra-curricular activities.3. I will listen to my child’s fears and concerns about participating and encourage their growth.

REWARD:

I will receive the following reward(s), if I follow through with this agreement:
