Organisation DetailsOur winery is located in San Asensio (La Rioja). All our wines come from selected vineyards with an average age ofmore than 50 years. The core value of our wines is the “grape”, through our vine selection we only used old grapesranging from 40 years old to 80 years old, in order to get the best grape we handpicked the majority of our vines(80% of our production). For all this process we have an in house Agricultural Engineer specialized in viticulture andwine.

Our classic wines; red wine 2015, white wine 2015 and rose wine 2015 - red wine crianza 2013, barrel fermentedwhite wine 2014, red wine reserve 2011 and signature wine 2014.

Within our company project we have been working very hard to launch our organic wines “Vega Vella”. We will havean small production for the first year in quantities but not in variety.

• The entirety of the domain from which the grapes are issued are farmed organically• All grapes are hand-harvested• No yeasts are added• No blocked malolactic fermentation• Low sulfites – we have seven references with total sulfites under 70• No reverse osmosis, cryo-extraction, spinning cone has been carried out• No sterile filtration• Majority of our references are filtered

Bodega Nuestra Señora de Vico S.Coop. was founded in 1957 by a group of winemakers from Arnedo and its sur-rounding area.

In 1955, the Virto family began its journey in the world of canned vegetables in a small warehouse where they were atthe time working as distributors of these preserves.

They eventually gained experience in this industry and after 20 years in 1975, Basilio Virto decided to make their owncanned vegetables.

He then founded Conservas Virto, specializing in products such as artichokes, green beans and peaches, ensuringthat the products offered met the quality and natural flavor requested by their customers.

In 1977 we incorporated a new generation, moved to our current location and gradually developed the wide range ofproducts we can enjoy today.
