Sqore (Sweden)
Acting CEO of the healthcare care operations and investment activities
of the Avesina group. Portfolio includes Avesina Hearing the largest
hearing aid retailer of Sweden. Focus area has been M&A, financing,
turn around management and operational leadership.
Prior experience includes a career within McKinsey where I worked
extensively in supporting Private Equity firms and family owned
businesses with optimizing mix and performance of portfolio
companies. Functions covered include strategy, operations and
corporate finance. Primary industrial focus includes Healthcare and
other high skilled services.
Mr ZAND has acquired a Master’s Degree in Economics from Stockholm
School of Economics (Sweden) and MBA in Business/Managerial
Economics from Cornell University - S.C. Johnson Graduate School of
Management (USA).
Ms Maria TANDECK
International Relations and Legal Officer
„Profesja“ Employment Agency and Training Center (Poland)
Ms Maria TANDECK currently works at an Employment Agency and Training
Institution “Profesja”, is the author and executor of many EU co-financed
projects in the area of entrepreneurship and youth employment. Her
previous experience includes Traineeships at the European Parliament
(Belgium), Internship at the German Parliament and Trainee-Programm
with emcra GmbH- europa aktiv nutzen (Germany).
Ms TANDECK has acquired an LLB Degree in German and Polish Law and
Master’s Degree on German and Polish Law with an emphasis on
International Law and International Commercial Law from Europa
Universität Viadrina (Germany), as well as participated in Academic
Exchange Programme – Master in Law and Project and Communication
Management in the Aberystwyth University (UK).

Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF)
The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) promotes
understanding, strengthens relationships
and facilitates cooperation among the
people, institutions and organisations of Asia
and Europe. ASEF enhances dialogue,
enables exchanges and encourages
collaboration across the thematic areas of
culture, economy, education, governance,
public health and sustainable development.
ASEF is an intergovernmental not-for-profit
organisation located in Singapore. Founded
in 1997, it is the only institution of the Asia
Europe Meeting (ASEM).
Together with about 750 partner
organisations ASEF has run more than 700
projects, mainly conferences, seminars and
workshops. Over 20,000 Asians and
Europeans have actively participated in its
activities and it has reached much wider
audiences through its networks, web-portals,
publications, exhibitions and lectures.

(UYFC)
Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia
(UYFC) (Originally the United Youth
Association for National Salvation of
Kampuchea) was founded on 2 December
1978, aiming at, in compliance with the
noble wish of the Cambodian people,
overthrowing the genocidal regime, and
won historical victory on 7 January 1979.
Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia is
an all-embracing front, and an umbrella
organization unifying all youth movements,
without discrimination of race, complexion,
sex, language, belief, religion, social strata
and political tendency, in order to build
Cambodia a state of independence, dignity,
territorial integrity, national unity, peace,
democracy and prosperity.
The aim of the organization is to help train
Cambodian youth to become the pillars and
backbone of the nation and as potential
successor to preserve the past
achievements and to achieve socio-
economic development in the future. The
resilience of Cambodian Youth means the
promising future for the nation.
