Six generations ago my family came from Spain and then went to Mexico.

Through the generations my family has moved from Mexico, then to San Pedro, to El Paso, then to Chihuahua and then back to California

While in California my family has moved from Inglewood, to South Gate, to Montebello, and finally to Chino in search of a good neighborhood.
