Part 1 - Office Professional Plus System Center Install

After installed you will see:

Existing other Office products (Project, Visio, etc…) will still appear in same version. Note Skype for Business is not currently an available product.

Outlook Registration Then open Outlook and you will see:

Enter email address and password:

Word Registration You may be forced to register other products (Word, PowerPoint, etc…) as well following the same process.

Next time you open an Office product you will see the recent docs and it will show your credentials in the top right corner.

Part 2 – Migration of Mailbox to Exchange Online (Cloud)Step 1 - Office 365 Portal Login Log into https://portal.office.com

Enter email address and then press tab. It will take you the below page.

Enter your network password. This is the TS F5 page.

You should then see the Office 365 page. It should show your name in the top right hand corner or if you hover over the gray person icon you will see your username:

You don’t need to install anything at this point, however you would follow the same steps from home to install Office Pro Plus on your home/personal devices.

Installing Office Pro Plus on Personal Computer You have a choice between installing Office 2013 or Office 2016. Office 2016 has some advanced features but it not the platform city managed devices utilize. Click either 2016 of 2013 install.

Follow the steps to install.

Installing Office Mobile on Android/Apple device You can also install Office Mobile and all products on your Android/Apple device:

Be aware that these are massive installs. It will prompt you for your city credentials to install.

Step 2 – Your Mailbox will be migrated to the cloudEnsure your Outlook email is open. You should see a message pop up saying an admin change has been made to your account. Please click OK.

Outlook shows disconnected at bottom and you will see an exclamation mark over your Outlook icon. Please close out Outlook.

Re-open Outlook

Shows Microsoft Outlook login screen (note it shows your email address as username not your emp #). Also, it will still show you disconnected at the bottom of the screen. Enter your login credentials using your email address as your username and your network password. Click remember my credentials and click OK.

You may also see an Autodiscover message appear. Please click allow and don’t ask in the future.

At this point your account is fully migrated and it should show Connected to Microsoft Exchange in the bottom tray.

Step 3 – Reconfigure your smartphone or other device using ActiveSyncRemove your existing city email account on device

1. Open Settings on phone2. Find account icon and select3. Locate Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync icon and select4. Locate city account and select5. Select more in top right hand corner and then select remove account

Adding new account

1. From the previous screen select the back arrow to arrive at the Accounts screen2. Select Add Account 3. Select Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync 4. Enter your city email address and your network password and select next. It may require you to enter a server name. If it does use

outlook.office365.com or m.outlook.com. Keep all other defaults the same. 5. It will ask you for some account preferences (size of emails, sync period, etc..) Fill out what you want and select next 6. Your account will then be set up. This may take a few min. 7. Validate your email is current
