Girls’ Student Council News By Avigayil Malkin

Third through eighth grade girls had an awesome end to our week before Pesach vacation! Mrs. Gross and Student Council set up the Annual Nissan breakfast. It was held in the gym and had beautifully set tables topped with gold and black and yummy food. We had pancakes, bagels, orange juice, and hot chocolate. A special thank you to Mrs. Jaffe for the hilarious skit by the teachers, and the equally funny Student Council video. A tremendous thank you to Mrs. Gross for putting this all together. We hope

you have a restful Shabbos, and an awesome Pesach! Love, The Student Council

5th Grade News By Aliza Feiler and Tiferet Goldman

This week in Mrs. Schur's class we finished our 10th Perek in Navi and we are going to have a Siyum this coming Monday. Each girl is working very hard on either D’var Torah, games, skit, etc. We are working very hard on our Haggados, and making them more beautiful every day. On Tuesday, we had a wonderful brunch run by Mrs. Gross and the 8th grade girls. They served pancakes, bagels and cream cheese, and hot chocolate, etc. We had it in honor of Rosh Chodesh Nissan. In Mrs. Kirshner’s class we are working hard on our Haggados. Yes, we have two Haggados! On Wednesday, we had a Be’ur Tefillah test on Halelukah #3. We’re sure everyone did great. On Tuesday we started a few Rashis. Have a great Shabbos!

5th-8th Grade News By Rabbi Kirshner

Our 5th - 8th grade boys were treated to a special Kumzitz with Rabbi Shlomo Katz on Erev Shabbos, Parshas Vayakhel/Pikudei. For close to an hour Rabbi Katz led the boys in song and Divrei Torah. In his own words "I've been to many schools around the world and never experienced the participation of the students like I did at Arie Crown". It was a truly remarkable event. Thank you to Jeremy Amster for arranging, and to Eli Cooper and Matt Kanter for accompanying Rabbi Katz.

4th Grade News By Rachel Sommer, Annie Rudolf, and Mia Safirstein

This week in Mrs. Dubovick's Kittah Daled, we had a very exciting week. On Monday the 27th, we took our last match-up test before Pesach. On Tuesday we had a Rosh Chodesh brunch. Thank you Student Council, 8th grade, and all 14 teachers! We really appreciate all the effort that you put into it. In Haggadah, we've been working on Mah Nishtanah, in three different languages; Hebrew, English, and Yiddish. Thank you Mrs. Dubovick for teaching us so much about Pesach. Have a great Shabbos and a great Pesach!

    The kindergarten children had a

"Jolly Day" during their Jolly Phonics

    party. They celebrated learning 42

    letter sounds!

    They decorated crowns with

    alphabet stickers and cookies with

delicious alphabet treats. We are so

    proud of our blooming readers!

Pre-Nursery students are very busy preparing for Pesach!

Here they are practicing the order of the Hagaddah and

    enjoying a Pesach Seder! L'Shana Haba'ah b'Yerushalayim!'

  • Nursery visits the Matzah Factory

    The Nursery yeladim ground

wheat for flour, rolled out matzah

    dough, pressed grapes for grape

juice, scraped the rolling pins, and

    practiced cleaning for Pesach at

    the Matzah Factory!

Stay and Play did an author study

    on Mo Willems!

We took turns telling our own stories. We

used black and white photograph settings

and cartoon characters just like in the Knuffle

Bunny books. Like his book, we baked

    chocolate chip cookies, without nuts!
