World Day of Peace – January 1 The World Day of Peace was established by Pope Paul VI in 1968 who asked that “every

year, this commemoration be repeated as a hope and as a promise, at the beginning of the calendar

which measures and outlines the path of human life in time, that Peace with its just and beneficent

equilibrium may dominate the development of events to come.” Each year has a specific theme,

chosen by the Holy Father. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ First Friday Adoration

On the First Friday of January we will have a day of Adoration of the Blessed

Sacrament. The church will be open between 9:00 am and 11:00 am and everyone will be

able to come for longer or shorter period of time to spend with Eucharistic Jesus. We

begin with Mass at 8:30 am, then the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for Adoration

and prayer. There is a sign up sheet at the back of the church so that at least 2 people sign for each

hour to make sure there is always someone present in the church with Blessed Sacrament exposed.

We invite everyone to come during a day to spend some time with our Lord. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Envelopes There are still some envelopes for 2020 at the back of the Church. Please do not use them till

2020 If you would like to receive envelopes please fill out the registration form by the envelopes

and the envelopes will be available to you next weekend.

There are still some envelope holders that are using their old numbers. The numbers were changed

2 years ago please use the envelopes that have been issued for 2020 to ensure that the donation

Donations for 2019 If you would like to make a donation for 2019 in order to have it included in the 2019 receipts

please do that by December 29th. Donations after that date will be for 2020.
