  • Lent is a time for producing, in greater abundance, the fruits of the

    Kingdom of God.

Lent is a call to action; a time for pruning; a time to

cut away the unwanted negative thoughts and

misdeeds that keep us from loving God and our

neighbor as we should. Our branches need to be cut

back so that we will produce with greater abundance

the fruits of the Kingdom of God.

Reflection Days pass and the years vanish,

and we walk sightless among miracles.

Lord, fill our eyes with seeing, and our minds with knowing.

Let there be moments when the radiance of your presence

illuminates the darkness in which we walk.

Help us to see, wherever we gaze, that the bush burns, unconsumed.

And we, clay touched by your hand,

will reach out for holiness and exclaim in wonder,

‘How filled with awe is this place, and we did not know it’ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Lenten Penance Service To give us all an opportunity to prepare for Easter spiritually, there will be an occasion for all of us to celebrate a Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) in our parish. It will be held on Tuesday, March 12th at 7 pm at the church.

A Discernment Retreat at Mission Hill For Catholic Men Aged 18 - 40

    In St Albert, AB, March 15 – 17, 2013

    What We’ll Be Doing…

When the Apostles first met Jesus and

were curious about His mission, Jesus told

them to come and see. With this in mind

we invite you to this weekend

    discernment retreat

To remind you that there are some CD’s and DVD’s that are available at the back of

the church, which is for everyone’s use. It may be a good way to enrich yourself

    and/or family during Lent.

The list of the CD’s and DVD’s is at the back with the titles. They can be borrowed for and week

at a time: on a weekend - at the back of the church before or after masses; during the week – at the

parish office when it’s open. There is a binder where you can sign and you take and when return.

We would like to remind those who have borrowed and maybe forgot, to please return CD’s and

DVD’s and to give others an opportunity to enjoy. Thank you.
