Call vs. Move the Question
• Call to Question– If objected to, no vote is taken and debate
continues.– If less than 50% vote yes, debate continues.
• Move the Previous Question– If objected to, a vote is taken.– If 2/3 vote yes, debate end and a vote on the
original motion is taken.
