STAINED GLASS CLASS

Whether a Beginning or Advanced Artist come and learn the core foundation skills in stain glass design, materials, tool use, soldering skills and Patina applications. All clas-ses will be geared towards all levels of skill, so come have fun and create your own beautiful art. If 18 or younger

must need guardian signature.

HUNT & HOLIDAY CRAFT WORKSHOP HOP into Spring with an Egg hunt and Craft Night! Kid and

Adult Friendly, so bring the whole Family! Come to Idlewild Park and get creative. Have a night out of the

house and join in on the fun! Parents or Guardian are re-quired to attend with their children, and we suggest par-

ticipants in the egg hunt to bring an extra change of shoes.

YOUTH BEGINNING TAE KWON DO

Tae Kwon Do is the martial art of choice for all ages. This course will offer you a unique form of aerobic exercise and give you the opportunity to learn self-

defense techniques to protect yourself and others. Through Tae Kwon Do, you build your self-control and meet people who can be friends for life.

EXTREME MOBILE ELECTRONIX

Create a mobile juggernaut equipped with disc shooter, sirens, flashing lights and voice recorder. Make and take home your very own electric vehicle. In this Youth Enrichment League electronics class, students will build 20-30 projects over the course of the session and use those projects to explore basic aspects of electricity, including measuring ohms, amps, voltage, open and closed circuits and more. Safety is our first rule. We will only use DC

current (batteries). We put the AMP into summer camp! Fee includes $20 for materials.

JUNIOR CODING AND VIDEO GAMES WITH SCRATCH Perfect for the 21st Century learner. Each student learns video game and storytelling design

techniques (movement blocks, control blocks, basic animation, adding scores, etc.) Students can write their own story and video game code. Students keep their stories and video games online

with Scratch® and can access it and expand upon it at anytime.

BASIC 1 SAILING LESSONS This class builds upon concepts introduced in the Intro to Sailing class.

Students refine their sailing skills while learning how to properly trim sails for various conditions and angles to the wind. This is a nine-hour class

split into three lessons held on three consecutive days (Tue, Wed & Thur). Important safety skills taught in the class, including how to right a cap-

sized boat and to prepare the student for sailing independently. The class is provisioned for two students per boat

BASIC 2 SAILING LESSONS The Basic Sailing 2 class allows students to practice and further

develop their sailing skills under the watchful eye of their instructor. At the start of each session, the instructor reviews topics based upon

the coaching needs of each individual student. The goal of this course is to prepare students to sail independently. This is a nine-hour class split into three lessons held on three consecutive days (Tue, Wed & Thur).

The class is provisioned for two students per sailboat.

SENIOR SUMMER PICNIC

This 2nd annual event is presented by the Allouez, Howard, & Suamico Recreation Departments. Come enjoy a relaxing evening in the Park, listen and dance to the live music by Talk of the Town, or socialize with family, friends, and neighbors. Enjoy a picnic buffet with burgers, brats, & hot dogs and all

the fixings! Door prizes sponsored by Assisted Living by Hillcrest will be given out to all, and raffle basket tickets will be sold.
