Well the heating may have been off and the school sadly closed last week BUT that didn’t stop the England and current Hull KR rugby legend Nick Scruton from popping in for a cupper. He even drank from my cup (lucky man) and got comfy in my office. Capped 7 times by England, Nick was part of the Leeds Rhinos Grand Final victory in 2007 over St Helens at Old Trafford and was also part of the team that won the 2008 World Club Challenge versus Melbourne. We are honored to have his sister working in school.

Yabadabadoo. We welcomed on Friday twenty, yes twenty brilliant and awesome #Business Volunteers from Yorkshire Bank. They really are ‘dream makers’ in making our school look so fantastic and awesome. All this space in our quad was an empty space three years ago, now it is filled with love. The job that these people do (free of charge) really makes Parklands such a special place to work and for the children to shine.Thanks Business in the Community!
