13. PERSONAL MINISTRIES call for everyone: If it is your hearts
desire to serve our Master by fulfilling His commission that was given
to us all? Personal Ministries would like to offer some ways for you to
be of service: Outreach to nursing homes, once a month, quarterly field
9a. days to pass out literature from door to door, reading scripture and
devotionals to those who are homebound. Please see Bro. Deutrell
Paige.

1. Leadership Meeting – Today at 5pm. All 2017 Elected Officers
and Board Members are being asked to attend. Agenda-
Calendar/Funding.
2. Young Adults Group – will be meeting today after service at the
home of Harold & Symone Webley. 20888 E 51st Place Denver
80249.
3. Children’s Choir – Rehearsal will take place downstairs in the
Music Room directly following Children’s Story today. Ages 12 and
under are invited to join. See Charlene Paige or Kendra Carter for
details.
4. Board meeting – has been canceled for tomorrow, Sunday,
January 15th. The meeting will take place next week Sunday, January
22nd at 9am.
5. Denver Park Hill SDA – will be hosting the Greater Metro Denver
Ministerial Alliance Interfaith Service honoring Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr. on tomorrow, Sunday, 4:00pm, January 15, 2017. The
theme: “Serving the Greatest by Serving the Least” Matt. 25:40.
6. Prophecy Seminar - has been canceled for tomorrow, Sunday,
January 15th due to the Ministerial Alliance Interfaith Service. The
study will resume next week Sunday, January 22 at 5pm.
7. Pathfinders – Will be participating in the MLK Marade on
Monday, January 16th at 9am. Please meet at City Park on the south
side of the MLK Jr. Statue. Please wear warm cloths and comfortable
shoes. All are invited to come along with the Pathfinders. Minor must
be accompanied by their guardian.
8. Youth Basketball – All ages 6-18 are invited to join Park Hill’s Youth
Basketball team. Please see Mike Banks for details, 720-557-9937
Practices begin soon.
9. Youth Choir – Attention all youth ages 13-18, Youth Choir rehearsal
is every Friday evening at 7pm. All are invited to join. Please see Andrew
Hinds for details.
10. Lion of Judah Christian Academy Day – is Sabbath, February 4th
2017.
11. Health Ministry - The Center for African American Health at 3601
Martin Luther King Blvd will host a Diabetes- Self Management Class on
these dates: January 23- February 27, 2017. Monday's at 6:00-8:00
p.m. also, March 13-April 17, 2017. Mondays' from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
12. Mission Trip - Please join us on our mission trip February 23 -
Monday Feb 27, 2017. We will be traveling to Alabama to conduct a
health fair for 5 counties of uninsured, underinsured and indigent people.
These counties are part of the black belt, some of the poorest counties in
the south. (Medical and non- medical volunteers are welcome). We will
be building a deck for children to play on in Jena, Alabama. In addition
we will be distributing groceries. The cost is $450/person inclusive.
Scholarships are available to young adults 20 - 30 years of age. Deadline
to confirm your attendance is January, 8, 2017. Please call Debbie

13. Personal Ministry – will host early Morning Prayer every Sabbath
morning at 8:30am in the front of the sanctuary. All are invited to join!
14. The Prayer Ministry team will have a short prayer meeting every
Sabbath afternoon, immediately following divine worship. All are
invited to attend. See Philip Morgan for details.
15. Donations needed - non-perishable items are needed in order to keep
shelves stocked. Peanut butter/jelly, canned corn, green beans, and fruit,
macaroni & cheese, rice & beans and spaghetti sauce. Also needed are
children’s clothing (all seasons) and winter clothing (adults). We thank
you for your donations.

16. Power Hour – Every Wednesday at 7pm come and receive a mid-
week refreshing through prayer.

18. A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program that can reduce
the fear of falling and increase activity levels of older adults who have
concerns about falling. Workshops will begin Tuesdays, January 24,
2017, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. These classes are FREE and held once a week for
8 weeks. Call Wendy Smittick at 303-355-3423 to enroll.
19. Fit, Body, & Soul - Healthy Lifestyle Program is a year-long
lifestyle program designed to inspire you to confidently embrace living a
healthier life! This program incorporates physical activity and healthy
eating into your daily regimen with the help of a fitness trainer,
nutritionist and a personal coach. You will lose weight and increase your
