The Oakland Suite can accommodateup to 150 seated guests or 250 for a buffet;and has its own dance floor, toilets andlicensed bar.

Our recently refurbished bridal suite isincluded free with your wedding reception.All wedding guests receive discounts onaccommodation.

Menus, including any special dietaryneeds, will be tailored to your ownrequirements.

The hotel is ideally situated just outside Bishop Auckland in dedicatedgrounds with extensive free car-parking, thirty-two en-suite rooms, freeWI-FI, and a newly built beer garden. The childrencan also enjoy the the newly created play area.

Each of the spacious rooms has an en-suite bathroom, flatscreen TVwith Freeview and free tea and coffee making facilities.

Our atmospheric bar offers the ideal place to relax before the big eventand many of the wedding guests enjoy the opportunity to sit and conversein comfortable surroundings..

We aim to cater each andevery event to therequirements of the bride andgroom, whether it’s a classicEnglish roast beef or a modernchoice we guarantee that all yourguests can be catered for.

Evening buffet menus can be anything from asandwich and savoury selection to a servedcarvery offering hot roast pork sandwiches,curries, hot-pots or even fish and chips!

Vegetarians are always welcome and a widechoice of meals can be catered for.

The children will be catered for separately atevery event and we will be delighted to offer eithersmaller portions of your main choice or special itemsaimed to satisfy the children themselves.

A FULLY TAILOREDALL INCLUSIVESERVICE

Many people now choose to have acivil ceremony rather than a churchservice. The Park Head Country Hotelis fully licensed for civil ceremoniesand can offer a full tailored service.

The service is held in the Oakland Suite and yourpersonal choice of music, flowers and seatingarrangements can be incorporated making it a uniquelypersonal experience for you and your partner.

The room can accommodate up to 100 people for aservice after which the tables will be laid out for yourspecial meal in less than one hour.

This allows ample time for the taking ofphotographs in either the flower filled courtyard withits ornamental fountain or the beautiful willow trees inthe gardens.
