SHARE-A-CRAFT
Friday 17th
May was the last day of
Share-a-Craft for another session. It has
been a busy and successful year with
new crafts learnt and old crafts shared
and lots of laughter and a few
frustrations when things don’t go to
plan.
Our thanks to the ladies, who faithfully
turn up each Friday morning.

HISTORY GROUP
After another session with some
interesting topics and speakers, it was
brought to a close at The Hawes Inn at
South Queensferry and a visit to Dalmeny
Church - a very old kirk dating back to the
7th
century and Celtic Saints. It was well
worth a visit and enjoyed by all.

CHRISTIAN AID
WEEK
Christian Aid Week this
year ran from 12th
18th
May.
Nineteen people came forward to act as
collectors, down from twenty-eight in 2012.
Many thanks are due to those who gave up
quite a few hours of their time that week, in
delivering and collecting envelopes.
Thanks also to all who contributed to
Christian Aid Week. The total amount
collected in Polmont will be announced in
the next edition of Twinspire.
