OBERAMMERGAU - SPLENDORS OF EASTERN EUROPE 2020
The Passion Play of Oberammergau takes place only once every 10 years. The summer of 2020 will be the last opportunity to see this world-famous play until the
year 2030!!
The village of Oberammergau is just one hour south of Munich in the heart of the Bavarian Alps under the tallest peak of the Bavarian Alps “The Zugspitze”… The village is absolutely gorgeous and perfect situated, located only one hour from Innsbruck and two hours from Salzburg! This is one of Germany’s most pictur-
esque villages that should be seen by all!
The tradition of the Passion Play started in 1634 when the village made a solemn vow: If God spared them from the dreaded Black Plague that was sweeping across Europe… they would present a play once every
ten years depicting the last week in the life of Christ!
The Director Christian Stucki, who directed the play in 2000 and 2010, has stated that he has 1,800 people working together to bring this play to the stage in the
summer of 2020.
All of the tickets offered are the best available “Category 1 Tickets.” You will have the best seating
in the theater!!
Half a million people will see this play in the summer of 2020. Space is always on a first come basis and every ticket will be sold. It always sells out!! Don’t miss this last chance to experience the Passion Play of Oberammergau. Combined with the HEART OF EASTERN EUROPE INCLUDING VIENNA, SALZ-BURG, PRAGUE, MUNICH AND BUDAPEST. EXPERIENCE SOME OF OLD WORLD EUROPE’S
MOST SPECTACULAR CITIES.

2018-2019 GRAND ANNUAL $ 54,068.00 Thank you for your continued support .
A NOTE FROM THE PASTOR
I want to thank Bishop Robert Hennessey for helping last weekend. It was gorgeous in NH last weekend.
Here is an update for the Catholic Appeal. Our goal for the Parish of the Transfiguration is $56,000.00. Between those who responded to the Cardinal’s letter or mailed in a check or gave online or on Commit-ment Sunday, we have $62,295.00 in gifts and pledg-es. If all the pledges are paid off, we will have met our assessment. As of now July 29th, there are $7,699.00 in outstanding pledges. Again, thanks to all the fami-lies who made a gift or pledge to the 2019 Catholic Appeal. If you would like to make a pledge to the Catholic Appeal, it is not too late.
The School Supplies collection has started. All sup-plies and backpacks are given to Merrimack Valley Catholic Charities for distribution.
Finally, Fr. Agustin will be away from the 7th of Au-gust through the 19th of August. While he is away, there will be communion services on August 8th, 9th 15th & 16th. Likewise, there will no priest available for the sacrament of the sick.
Well, that is it for now. Until next time, take care. Fr. Earley
Nicole Sullivan and Jared Melillo Amanda Mauriello and Michael J. Walsh Jr.

THANK YOU To the Priests, People, and staff of the Parish of the Transfiguration. Thank you all for the prayers, cards, good wishes, smiles and rides during the past six months. Your kindness has helped pull me through the recovery from the auto accident. I can tell you the most important part of my recovery has been your prayers! When I am in the Holy Land with Fr Earley and Fr. Tully, I will be praying for all of you. Thank you all again! God bless you all! Marie J. Neal.
