Next Renew + Rebuild project
Hopefully, when the Archdiocese releases some money, we would like to address upgrading the lighting system in the church. As you can see from the bathroom renova-tion, the latest lighting has been used. We would like to extend that same lighting into the atrium and the church. After almost thirty years it does need an upgrade. Also, we need to address the whole system, as what was in-stalled back then has become almost impossible to main-tain (changing bulbs and recent accidents with fixtures).
********** In looking over church bulletins that people turn in when they go on vacation, I see many parishes list their ex-penses from week to week. I thought we would start do-ing the same.
Expenses for May 5 to 15

*********** Shining Stars
Lillie Newkirk and Brian Reiber were in the news! Lillie was named Student Athlete of the week and Brian was awarded for a science project entry. Both are seniors at Warwick High and both are the teen representatives on the St. Stephen parish council. Congratulations and we wish them well after graduation.
********** As a cost cutting measure, starting the end of this month, there will no longer be teen workers in the office after 4:00. The office will be closed at 4:00 dur-ing the week and closed on Saturday/Sunday.

Action Bible Donations Requested
Each year the parish provides 6th grade students with a personal copy of the Action Bible for home use. Our parishioners have been very generous in helping to provide these bibles. A name plate will be placed in each donated volume so children will know they have been given the gift of God’s Word and can remember the donor by name. If you would like to make a donation in the amount of $20 “in honor of” or “in memory of” someone, please place your
donation and request in an envelope and leave in the church office, attn.: Lydia, Action Bible.
May, the Month of Mary
The members of Sodality invite all parishioners and their families to join us in honoring Mary, Mother of the Rosary on Thursday May 16th at 6:45pm in front of the Church. They will begin with Crowning our Blessed Mother and then have the Living Rosary (rain or shine). Please mark your calendars for this special evening.
