Saturday from 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm or by appointment with a priest. THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM
Baptisms are usually scheduled for the 1st and 3rd. Sundays of the month at 2:30 pm. A parent must come to the rectory to arrange the Baptism and bring the following paperwork: BIRTH CERTIF-ICATE, WRITTEN RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE PARISH OF THE SPONSORS (Sponsors must have received their sacraments and, if married, married in the Catholic Church). If the parent is not registered in the parish, the parent must regis-ter and attend church for several weeks before a Baptism date is given. Parents must be registered members of the parish. A date for the Baptismal Instruction Class (usually the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m.) will be given after all paperwork is presented at the rectory.
THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE
Couples planning to celebrate their marriage at St. Frances should make an appointment with a priest at least six months before their planned wedding date in order to begin their marriage preparation and reserve a date for the wedding.

Dear Parishioners,
During the summer months, we will be concentrating on planning our 2017/2018 calendar --- events for the
90th Anniversary, special Masses, adult education classes, etc. You will find a coupon in the bulletin ask-
ing for your suggestions and ideas. You may also write a note to me if you prefer to do that. Whatever can
be done, we, the priests, will do our best to make it happen. Thanks for your ideas and your help! For the
next few weekends, we will take a break from our usual comments. But, we will be back!
As always, on time for Mass, use the missalettes and hymn books, try to look happy as you participate in
the Mass, what are you saying or teaching your children when you leave Mass early, Church wear is not
beach wear and finally --- the Eucharist is not "take-out" --- Mass does not end when you have received the
Body of Christ and head for the door!

NO MUSIC ... on the Saturdays of July there will be no music at the 5 pm Mass ... we will resume in August.!
