Entrance Antiphon The Spirit of the Lord has filled the whole world and that which contains all things understands what is said, alleluia.
Responsorial Psalm Psalm 104
Lord, send forth your Spirit, And renew the face of the earth.
Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, how great you are. How many are your works, O Lord! The earth is full of your creatures.
You take away their breath, they die, returning to the dust from which they came. You send forth your spirit, and they are created, and you renew the face of the earth.
May the glory of the Lord last forever! May the Lord rejoice in his works! May my thoughts be pleasing to him. I will rejoice in the Lord.
Lord, send forth your Spirit, And renew the face of the earth.
Gospel Acclamation Alleluia, Alleluia Come, O Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful; and kindle in them the fire of your love. Alleluia.
Communion Antiphon They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke of the marvels of God, alleluia.

RCIA – Pentecost Celebration Bernalee Daniels, Thembelihle Ngcobo, Kaylee van der Westhuizen, Lea-Anne Clayton and
Alexia Robert were received into the full communion of the Catholic Church at Easter. Under
the leadership and guidance of Irene Helsdon they have now completed the period of
Mystagogia – deepening their understanding of the mysteries of our faith. On this Feast of
Pentecost, they will be commissioned to go out and give witness to their faith, by acts of
charity and by fellowship and discipleship. Let us offer them our fullest support and
encouragement. After the 9.00 a.m. Mass today all are invited to tea, with eats, in the hall, to
express our thanks to Irene for leading the RCIA process over many years.
Come and See There will be another Come and See evening this Wednesday 12 June at 7
pm for anyone who is considering becoming a Catholic and would like to
find out what the journey entails. The evening is also for baptised Catholics
who have not been confirmed and for anyone interested in being a sponsor.
Enquires: Fr Justin at the office or Carol on 083 461 1315.
In today’s Gospel Jesus says, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word…” Let us show that
we love him, by responding to his word: “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them… and teaching them…” (Mt 28:19-20). Invite and accompany people to a no-strings-
attached, information evening, to share the beautiful gift of our Catholic faith.
