Microsoft Office 365 – FREE If assignments requires students to write or make a project, they will need to us a program like Microsoft Word or PowerPoint and save it to their computer or flashdrive
The student can “drop” this course WITHOUT penalty anytime during the 28 day
grace period
IF the student completes 20% of the segment BEFORE the 28 day grace period … the student
CAN NOT drop WITHOUT penalty
Grace Periodis a 28 day window when:
The student MUST complete AT LEAST 20% of the segment to remain the course after the 28
day grace period!

Pacing Expectations and the Grace Period• It’s expected that students complete at
least 2-3 assignments each week in order to be “on pace” in the course
• At this pace, your student will be able to finish the class in 6 weeks
On the Weekly Update Email you will receive EVERY Wednesday, there should
NEVER be a ZERO here
Pacing Expectations and the Grace Period
• Students are expected to complete the class within 9 weeks!
• IF the student has not completed the class within 9 weeks the student may be removed from the course or given a FIRM deadline to complete.

Discussion Based Assessments (DBAs) • DBAs are where I speak to your student
over the phone and discuss topics from the class
• DBA last approximately 5-10 minutes
• There is one DBA in module 8
• Students must schedule a time for their DBA by using my online scheduler:

1) Make sure your student views the complete “Student Welcome Presentation”
2) After viewing the “Student Welcome Presentation” make sure they visit http://svadriversedmitchell.weebly.com and register for a live session to complete your Welcome Contact or Make an appointment on lattiss for the Welcome call http://svade-hope.lattiss.com
• The Welcome Contact sessions last for 30 minutes• Remember … make sure your JAVA is updated
• The Welcome Call will last up to 10 minutes
• Student and parent/guardian will need to participate during this contact
• Your student should start working in the class before we complete the Welcome Contact
