THE CUB SCOUT PROGRAMBoys within the Pack are grouped into small Dens of 6-8 boys based on their grade in school, or rank. The Cub Scout program is then delivered through age-appropriate activities in the rank handbooks. BSA has almost 100 years invested studying boys and developing the programs.

TIGER: 1st grade boys are with a parent partner. Each Tiger Cub family team is a part of their den and work together on den activities, family activities and “Go See Its”- field trip activities.

WOLF: 2nd grade boys work on 12 Achievements to earn the Wolf rank badge, and then may work on electives in different interest areas. Most requirements are home-based.

BEAR: 3rd grade boys complete 12 of 24 Achievements before working on Electives. Most requirements are home-based with more den activities and achievements. This program offers more “choice” as the boys expand their individual interests.

WEBELOS: The program progresses for 4th & 5th grade boys to an 18-month
