SIGNALSSignals give the teacher/parent a quick assessment of the students ability to compute mentally and identify which students are struggling. Signals are not as distracting as a waving hand.
Fist: A signal to sow that you are thinking
Thumbs Up: A signal to show that you have a strategy to solve the problem
Fingers: A signal that can be used to identify a specific strategy or to show multiple strategies
