Dear Middle School Parents,

Welcome to February -always a great month in our ISM Middle School. A highlight be-

ing our Classroom Without Walls experience! Students have been planning and prepar-

ing for the opportunity to engage with the Philippines and our Service Learning part-

ners. We look forward to engaging with students in a dierent environment and the

reecons on their learning that follow.

Please mark the following dates on your calendar -for grade 4 parents we begin the

transion process to grade 5 with a meeng onFebruary 4 at 5:00 p.m.

Theater. This is an opportunity for you to be introduced to this next stage of learning at

ISM, and also the process for how we help you and students to transion to Middle

School. Also in February we start the same process for grade 8 students moving to High

School. February 17is our next Middle School parent coee -we will publish the topics

for the meeng in next week's parent bullen.

Leaving ISM?

Please be reminded that parents are obliged to ocially inform the School in wring

through a WITHDRAWAL NOTIFICATION FORM if their children will not be returning in

August for School Year 2015-16. Families are encouraged to submit the Withdrawal

Nocaon Form, stang the student's nal date of aendance, immediately. Forms

must be submied on or before May 8. Failure to submit the form by that date may

lead to a deducon of US$1,000 from the Facilies Upgrade Deposit (FUD), incompensaon for having held a space for your child, prevenng the School from oer-

ing that space to another candidate.

The Withdrawal Nocaon Form can be obtained from the Admissions Oce or di-

rectly from the ISM website under Admission > Re-Enrollment & Withdrawal > With-

drawals

Hardeman Cup: Congratulaons JV Boys, JV girls and Varsi-

ty girls for taking out the Hardeman Cup Basketball Tourna-

ment this year hosted last weekend by Faith Academy. Our

VBoys basketball team also placed 3rd, so a great weekend

for Bearcats Basketball.

Thank you very much to all families for your hospitality to

house our vising tennis athletes. It is great event for our

community hosted at the best tennis venue in IASAS. Pleasecome along to support our teams as they strive to defend

their tles. The boys and girls teams are defending 3 and 4

me champions. Come out to see the nals acon on Satur-

day. Go Bearcats Tennis teams!

Our other IASAS teams are working very hard overseas for

Rugby/Touch and Swimming in Bangkok and Basketball in

Taipei. Keep up to date with their progress at

www.iasas.asia. for results, photos and live stream acon.

It is an excing me coming up with the end of season 2

and the start of season 3 just around the corner. Season 3

pracce and tryouts schedule have been posted on noce

boards and on the ATAC blog. Season 3 sports for HS are

Track & Field, Soball, Badminton and Golf. MS do the

same sports in season 3 with the excepon of golf.

Please note the pracce mes for the following ATAC pro-

grams: ATAC all year round teams-3:15-4:30. Sailsh/

Gymnascs and all HS seasonal teams now conclude prac-

ce at 4:50pm each day. MS seasonal teams 3:10-4:45pm.

The last bus is now 4:55pm and all aer school programs

will conclude by 4:50pm in order to try and clear the cam-

pus prior to 5pm due to the ever increasing trac concerns

in our area.

Parents and students please take some me to peruse theATAC blog it has a wide variety of informaon and links to

our sports and acvies program. If you have any quesons

regarding the compeve program of sports at ISM aer

reading the informaon on the blog please send an email

to [email protected] and I will endeavor to assist you as

best I can.

Bearcat Den-drop by our fantasc spirit store. There is a

range of new products and items to purchase including

items from our service partners. Bearcat Den hours of oper-

aon-7am-4pm Mon-Fri.

throughout the school year. Access
