それはなにものでもない
なにものでもないがゆえに、私たちの感覚に訴えかける
物質の持つ肌理と尺度、沈黙と喧噪
突き放された形式の中で
感覚する肉となった私たちは
ふと空間を見いだす
人間になった私たちは建築と出会う
認識は感覚を超えて、その閾域を拡大させる
認識と感覚の行き来のなかで、
そこに在る物質はその物性を発動する
オブジェと人間の彼岸に佇む建築

Each material has the scale, therefore
they can be good index of fractal form.
Firstly, I determine
5 scale (9000mm,4000mm.1000mm,400mm,100mm) and
3 form (mass,plain,line)
according to material natures.
Secondly, I adopt ” form ” as lattice in mass and
plain in various scale.

responding to 5 material-scales.
You can pass through the stairs
at the point of each intersections.
You will then encounter various space and materials.
they are raised at 200mm high.
stairs are represented as the only guideline
of the human-scale .

of the campus facing the street

because of the stone wall.
Visitors approach the building by
the slope is inserted into stone
wall from the street.

る道路との間に石垣によって2m
の高低差がある

エントランスの一つとなっている

Each programs are divided and gently
continued by inserted patio.
It becames buffer zone between
programs.
入り込んだ外部はそれぞれのプログラム同士の
バッファゾーンとなり、分けられつつ緩やかに
つながる。
The located patios has individual
scenes that is lead from the entrance
other and became entrance on the
first floor.
Ambivalent patios provide various
experience.
入り込んだ外部は、周辺の景色を切りとり、1階
ではエントランスとなる。

その、最たるものが「本」である。
しかし、世界中にインターネットが普及し、物質的な距離に依存することな
く、様々な情報を手にすることができるようになった。
しかし、インターネットによるアクセス可能な領域が世界すべてを表すわけ
ではないし、それは物質性のない世界だ。
世界はインターネット検索のヒット数なんかではその大きさは分からない。
物質としての世界を表象しているのは物質であり「本」そのものだ。そこに
は、確かな量があり積み上げられてきた人間の営為がある。
圧倒的に便利で触れられない世界が日常化していく中で必要なのは不便でも
触れられる世界だ。
ここでは、世界そのものに触れ、その潜在的な存在を実感できる。
そんな建築を構想した。
