Paper mache Galapagos giant tortoise

When my son wanted to make a turtle for a class project I used a washing basket and covered with paper mache to make the shell and newspaper with masking tape to shape the head, legs and tail again covered with paper mache. All held together with wire under shell. It only took us a day to make this and was the first time I have used paper mache so it is vert easy and anyone could do it.. Good luck.
