ABSTRACT

Abstract should be typed in English and less than 250 words. The abstract should contain the brief explanationabout research topic and scope, method, results and discussion, and conclusion.

Keywords: Keyword_1, Keyword_2, Keyword_3, Keyword_4 (Max. 5 words and Min. 4 words related to theresearch topic).

1. INTRODUCTION

This paper provides the formatting guidelines forTICA 2011. The paper should be typed in Englishwithin four pages. Title, author, author affiliationshould be typed on the top centre of the first page ofthe paper. Title should be typed by capital letter withfont format Arial, 12 pt, bold, while author name withfont format Arial, 11 pt, bold.

Author affiliation should be typed with font formatArial; 10 pt and email address should be typed withArial, 10 pt, and italic format.

1.1 Formatting the PaperThe paper size used in the TICA11 is A4

(210 mm wide by 297 mm tall). All printed material,including text, illustrations, charts, footnotes, andtables, must be kept within a print area of 176 x227 mm (width x height). Do not write or printanything outside the print area.

The top and the bottom margin must be 3.5 cm,and the left and the right margin 1.8 cm. All text mustbe in a two-column format. Figures, tables,equations, and such can span two columns, wherenecessary. The columns are to be 84 mm wide, with

an 8 mm space between them.

2. METHOD AND EXPERIMENT PROCEDURE

Describing research method or technique of theresearch and experimental procedures in order toacquire the data.Should not type in several point formats, but inseveral comprehensive sequence explanationparagraphs.

All the units should be typed in StandardInternational Unit (SI Unit), e.g. meter, millimeter, kg

or g, Newton, etc. Decimal number should be typedusing dot (.), e.g. 3.4 m. Comma (,) should be usedfor currency unit, e.g. 1,000 USD.

2.1 EquationsEquations should appear in the text where they

are introduced. All equations must be numbered, theequation number being parenthesized and rightaligned. The equation itself is centered on thecolumn and vertically separated from the text by aspace of one text line. In the case of multi-lineformulas, the equation number is vertically cantered

on the equation. An example equation can be writtenas

Where Nand Rare some variables, which are typedin italic both in the text and in the equation itself.Note that the equation is a part of a sentence, andthus correct punctuation must be applied.

3. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

3.1 Figure FormatThe attachment of the figure is in order to

simplify the explanation of the idea or to give moredetail and clearer explanation to the readers. All thefigures should be attached on the centre page withhigh-resolution format in order to ease the readerobservation. The figure should be attached togetherwith the simple figure title. If the figure is a quotationfigure from another reference, the reference should

be typed at the figure as number that is identicalwith the reference section.

Figure title should be shown below the figure bycentre page format, Arial, 8 pt font format, andcapital letter at the first letter of each word, exceptconjunctive such as and, or, in, at, on, for, of, etc.The explanation of every figure attached should bediscussed in the main text.

3.2 Table FormatTable should be attached in the centre page

format. Table title should be shown on the top of thetable. Writing format of the table is same with figureformat. Notation about table resource and unitsshould be typed below the table.

4. CONCLUSIONThe description of the conclusion from research

data and analysis, it should not type in several pointformats, but in one or several comprehensivesequence explanation paragraphs.

5. REFERENCEIncluded all the related reference that is used to doand write the paper. Reference should be typed byArial, 8 pt. Font format. All the reference should bearranged and numbered by the appearancesequence order. The number should be typed in thebrackets, e.g. Majalah Inovasi Online merupakan

majalah ilmiah yang diterbitkan PPI Jepang. [1]

5.1 Reference Format taken from Paper orJournal

The writing order starts from author name (endedby dot), title (ended by dot), the journal name (endedby dot), publishing year (ended by comma), volumenumber (if followed by number, the number shouldbe typed in the brackets, without space after volumenumber then ended by colon), page number (endedby dot).

Author name is started from the last name/ familyname followed by initial/first name then initial/middlename, and so on, without comma (,) nor dot (.)between last and first name. If the authors are fourpeople or less people, all the authors should be

mentioned. If the authors are exceeding five people,four first people should be mentioned and the rest istyped by et al. or dkk.
