Metaconsole improvements
Pandora FMS Enterprise 6.0 Metaconsole has been improved in its usability and performance with a new design and a cache mechanism that drastically speeds up the information display and processing, allowing scaling beyond 100.000 monitored endpoints (agents).
Metaconsole Event CorrelationA new feature for defining correlation rules from all the events collected from the Pandora FMS nodes
Metaconsole Service ModelingA new feature for modeling services from elements within the Pandora FMS nodes.
New Metaconsole API and CLI
Metaconsole now incorporates a REST API and a command line interface, enabling integrations with 3rd-party applications and custom actions. For more information, see:

New Visual Styles
Both console and Metaconsole visual styles have been redesigned, with usability and coolness in mind, making a big difference from version 5.x.
Oracle Support
Pandora FMS 6.0 now supports Oracle as database backend, with all the derived benefits that it implies: stability, scalability and performance. This is a major step up for the monitorization of big environments (hundreds of thousands), where MySQL backend solutions fall behind.
ACL Strict Mode
A new access control mechanism has been implemented for MSPs in mind that need more control over the information.

PANDORA FMS 6.0 HIGHLIGHTS
Remote configuration of Satellite and Pandora servers
Configuration files of Pandora FMS server and Satellite server can be managed from the console. In addition, Satellite server comes with two new tokens: add_host and ignore_host, for adding and deleting agents respectively.
Dashboard Enhancements
Dashboards have been rewritten from scratch in Pandora FMS Enterprise 6.0, offering a fully customizable frontend to display the information exactly the way you want, with rearrangeable and resizable widgets to fit every display.
Email alerts enhancements
It is now possible to send email alerts using HTML templates, being able to include graphs in the email.
Dynamic Reports
Report templates can now be applied to a different set of agents every time, without the need of creating a report instance.
New features for Visual consoles
Drag and drop lines and boxes have been added to improve visual effects and relation between the elements.
Google 2-Step Verification
Implementation of two-step authentication using Google Auth. It allows a more secure access to the Pandora console.
z/OS monitoring
A new specific solution to monitor Mainframe environments. It comes with a default set of monitors and reports to perform daily checklists of the system and controlling the billing parameters allowing you to save costs. For more information, see:

Logs integration
Logs can now be displayed from the agent´s view, improving usability and efficiency in root cause analysis.
MINOR FEATURES
Database encryption
Passwords are now stored encrypted in the database. It affects server plugins, network modules and custom fields of the agent.
CSV export from the graph view
Data can now be exported to CSV from the graph views.
Data model enhancements
A new data type has been created for representing delta changes of a value, complementing with an alternative representation compared to the previous data type (generic_data_inc) that showed the rate per second.
New access bits
New access bits for accessing maps and visual consoles.
Active Directory integration improvements
It is now possible to map the groups of Active Directory with the groups of Pandora FMS, as well as the profiles and permissions that the user will have inside the platform.
95th Percentile graphs
Pandora FMS Enterprise 6.0 now incorporates a new kind of graph to visualize the 95th percentile graph of a module, ignoring peaks and getting a more realistic estimation.
External authentication methods in Metaconsole
It is now possible to login in Metaconsole using external authentication methods already existent in the console:

Update manager in the Metaconsole
Metaconsole can receive updates directly from the Update Manager.
New report type: Compared graphs.
