INTERACTION STAGE: EXISTING CAPITALIZATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR PANACeA COMMUNITY
In your expert opinion, what are the key Biodiversity Policy Frameworks and/or other capitalization opportunities that PANACeA Community should target to convey the
results and conclusions of the (your) Modular Project(s)?
ACTIVITY 1: SELECTING CAPITALIZATION TARGETS
Take 20 minutes to reflect on this question and to discuss your opinion within your Group. Feel free to walk along the CAPITALIZATION OPPORTUNITIES panel in the room to recap some relevant highlights of the analysis or to take a look at the printed version of the analysis.

When the voting poll opens, individually, please assign 1 DOT to the Policy Framework or Capitalization Opportunity per category that you see on the Panel that you consider most relevant for your WG or MP Project (1 person = 4 dots). If you are missing one that you would like to see on the board, take a white A4, write it there and pin it to the Panel. Then please go back to your seat.
Take a look at the results of the voting. Stand-up again, and now, again individually, please assign 4 DOTS to the Policy Frameworks or Capitalization Opportunities on the Panel that you consider most relevant for your WG or MP Project (regardless of category). Then please take your seat.
ACTIVITY 2: DEFINING TOOLS TO MEET CAPITALIZATION TARGETS
To visualize and define those PANACeA Community Products (tools) that could be used to meet the selected Capitalization Targets.
OBJECTIVE
EXPECTED OUTCOME
TIME 60 minutes

For each of the Capitalization Target prioritized by your WG, make a wish for a PANACeA product (tool) that could support your Working Group & associated Modular Project(s) to successfully meet your goals in connection to the Target. But please remember: For every
wish, your Modular Project has to commit to GIVING SOMETHING IN EXCHANGE!
ACTIVITY 2: DEFINING TOOLS TO MEET CAPITALIZATION TARGETS
WELCOME TO PANACeA’S BARTER PLACE!
Look at the basket of available products on your Table. Take 15 minutes to brainstorm which of these - or otherwise other products proposed by you – could be the most effective tools that your Working Group could use in support of your Capitalization Targets. Choose a minimum of 3 products and a maximum of 5 products for your Working Group.
1
2 For each Product, identify any inputs that one or more of the Modular Projects in your WG could contribute as content for its production and/or dissemination. You have another 15 minutes for this.
3 Assign a spokesperson for your Working Group. We will ask him/her to pin your Products & Contributions to the Panel and to explain each of the Products proposed, their relevance / arguments in their support and their associated Capitalization Targets.

Take 20 minutes to brainstorm on what needs to happen (milestones) for the WG to be able to deliver on that vision. Make teams of 3 persons and leave each group 10 minutes to write milestones in sticky notes (1 milestone per note) and post them on the wall. Have someone from each group read its milestones out loud. Suspend judgement during this process (all ideas / milestones are considered. Discuss the results, group and select the most relevant milestones.

Breakout in teams of 3 persons again and give 1 milestone to each Team. Each Team has 20 minutes to define actions (WHAT?), assign deadlines (WHEN?), responsibilities (WHO?) & tools (HOW?) to deliver on each milestone towards your vision of success & target group. Have someone from each Team paste their contributions on the wall. Have the group discuss the resulting Action Plan.
