•On-going efforts with DTCA, AfDB may yield results soon
•PASMAT II (2015) to be held with the African Materials Research Society Meeting in Ghana 6th -11th Dec, 2015.
FRG on Biomaterials focuses on cancer and cardiovascular diseases detection and treatment, developing drug delivery strategies
FRG on Multi Functional materials focuses on materials for water purification, sustainable building and infrastructure materials, new and advanced materials.
FRG on Energy and the Environment focuses on OLEDs, Organic solar cell fabrication and Perovskytes.
These FRGs motivate the teaching and research in PAMI and are by themselves motivated by industry through the Industry Advisory Board and insights gained during outreach activities
PAMI VALUE CHAIN PAMI Engine rooms
Industries such as AIG, SCC, Total, NHA have established relationships with PAMI. AfDB, DTCA are in discussions with PAMI
Each FRG has published papers in high-impact factor journals corresponding to 2/fresh PhD
Total is motivating research in the area of Barite processing, AIG in factory management and metallurgy, SCC in multi-functional materials development.
Moving PAMI from Good to Great! Contributions of the focused research groups
