Schiavello and Ivan Woods have a long history.
Our collaborative design process, which has
evolved over many years, has yielded distinctive
collections such as the Kayt and Toro collections.
Ivan enriches his designs’ emotional qualities
through fine detailing, influenced by a strong
architectural sensibility and carefully considered
geometry. The unique combination of individual
and robust personalities in his products results in
a unique outcome that has lent his products to a
diverse range of scenarios.
Ivan grew up in Australia and studied interior
architecture in Perth. Having designed interiors
and products for over 30 years, he has created
work for the Langham and Marriot hotels as well
as international projects spanning the UK, US,
Germany and Italy.

Paloma
Striking by design, the Paloma chair embodies style and sophistication, cradling the user within its embrace for a relaxed yet refined addition to the home, waiting room, lounge or study. A double zip detail at the rear further emphasises its sculptural qualities. This is a chair that announces itself in any setting, and then invites you to be enveloped in its comfort. The range is composed of two typologies: a fully enclosed, upholstered
form on a 360° black painted steel swivel base, and a five star cast aluminium swivel base with a polished or powder coat finish. Each is available in a high, medium or low back variant in premium leather with the option of contrast stitch detail or fabric. The chair’s large footprint reflects the trends of workplaces leaning toward the blurring of work and the home. Paloma’s generous, soft and comfortable seat and back allows the user to feel at home.
