"I am impressed with you asa new commissioner and allthat you have done,,, Harristold Harvey. 'You are at a lit-tle bit of a disadvantagebecause you don't know wh-atall we've done, and I want togo into that. We have beentransparent. We've been work_ing on this a long time.,,

All of the commissionersagreed to not only the size andscope of the task force, butalso to have the names of theirappointees by Tuesdav whenthey have their commissionerworkshop.

It was decided that no boardmembers provide staff supportfo_r-the task force. Insiead,Mike Brown from the

Planning and ServicesDepartment and Solid WasteDirector Larry Gast wouldprovide staff support to takeminutes and olfer other assis-tance.

Flagg encouraged whoeverwould be on the task force to'be open to all credibleoptions, decide what the bestwould be for our county andnot to oppose the currentprivatization plan just tooppose it.
