an example- Start with the lighter color, as you may have to go over it more than once and any mess ups can be easily covered by the darker color.

- A small brush tip is preferred (as you can see in the pic). This will help get the detailed small spots.

- Print on thicker paper, I recommend the watercolor paper from walmart or a craft store (#140lb if your printer can handle it). You can try regular coverstock paper, but some warping may happen.

- The paint pots are great if you can find them at the store or order online

p.s. the thicker the paint, the better it will be for coverage. I used liquitex for the white & black and folkart for the colors.You could get away with choosing 2 color. One for No.3 and one for No.7.

From there you would just add white to lighten them (ex: add a bit of white to No.1, a little less to No.2, etc). Then to darken (for No.4 and No.6) you just add a tad of black no.9.
