Learning & Development Corner: Tag hosts summer intern program
The launch of our 2nd annual summer intern program at the 381 Park Avenue South and Spring Street locations in New York is underway.
Eight college interns have joined the Tag team for the 10-week program, which runs from late May to August. Throughout the summer, interns gain tangible
learning experiences that will help prepare them for their future careers. The program is not only valuable for participants, but also for the business, as finding and nurturing talent plays a key role in our continued success.
The structure of the internship program is based on our 70/20/10 development framework. As part of this program, our interns will learn about Tag’s business strategy, credentials and value proposition from key business leaders. They will also become familiar with Account Management and Design at Tag and sister company, Smoke & Mirrors.
Program objectives include:• Introduction to CMD • Learning the lifecycle of a project• Reviewing and implementing media plans• Understanding the quality control process• Knowledge of color management and digital builds
Career panel sessions known as Tag Unplugged are of particular importance to the program. Through this interactive forum, interns hear from Tag employees and gain insight into their experiences and career paths. Last year’s interns expressed how valuable these unscripted discussions were, and this year’s cohort looks forward to attending, as well.
Please join us in welcoming the 2015 Tag summer interns!
