Amanda Murphy Quilting Seminar

Class Location: Creative Sewing & Vacuums (Charlotte, NC) Date: February 18 Saturday 10-4 Class Fee: $ 55.00. Plus quilt panel $ 10.99 Class Description: If you need to learn more about free motion quilting; then this class is for you. Join local quilter and fabric designer Amanda Murphy for a day of fun. Amanda will teach you all the ins and outs of free motion quilting. You will bring your Bernina household machine and use one of her panels to learn how to create basic and complex patterns. She will also demonstrate the long arm and sit down Bernina quilting machines. We will use Bernina free motion feet: 24, 29, 43 & 44. Not a Bernina owner; no worries come try one of our Bernina's and see why all quilters love Bernina for free motion quilt-ing. She will have a trunk show of her beautiful quilts. Seating is limited.

Juki Serger Seminar

Class Description: Stop pulling your hair out threading your serger. Come see this amazing self-threading serger. This serger has a beautiful rolled hem and differential feed. You will cover inserting elastic, roll hemming, blind hemming, beading, cording and gathering. Some of the wonderful features of this machine are: Air threading, automatic needle threaders, wide throat area, LED Sewing Light, and waste collector.
