In November, members had a fantastic time visiting Shangri La . The history of
Shangri La is the story of people, place and place-making. The interaction of the
dramatic Hawaiian landscape, modernist architecture, Islamic art and the legacy
of the founder continue to animate Shangri La today.

Aloha Spouses, This month was a lot of fun for KOSC participants! A big Mahalo and Thank You to Helen Toolan and her band of merry elves at MARFORPAC for hosting a fun Ornament Ex-change. The decorations were beautiful, the food was amazing and it was an evening of great camaraderie. This has become one of my favorite annual events and I’m already looking for-ward to next year! Also this month, we were invited to attend a performance of Nutcracker by Ballet Hawaii. As part of their Angel Program, Ballet Hawaii offered no-cost seats to KOSC and we did a pretty good job filling them up! I greatly appreciate Liz Jacobsen and Shannon Barnes helping to get everyone checked-in for the event. I saw some pictures floating around after the event and it looked like a memorable night. As we celebrate this holiday season and move into a new year, I always find myself full of gratitude for the positive people and events in my life. Thank you for everything all of you do to make the KOSC a fun and welcoming group. Happy Holidays and let’s make 2016 even better! Reminder: Monthly KOSC board meetings are open to ALL members. The next meeting is Wednesday, January 6th at the O-Club at 0900. Thank you, Jason Pierce President, KOSC
