PULSE JET CARTRIDGE DUST COLLECTOR

Fast, Simple and Safe Cartridges Replacement • The entire replacement of the set of vertical cartridges is done from outside the dust collector and requires no tools. This way the worker is not exposed to the dust. • The vertical cartridge is provided with a rectangular adapter that simplifies the manipulation and elimi-nates installation errors.

Continuous Operation • Unlike some other types of dust collection systems, such as the shaker the vertical cartridges dust collec-tion systems doesn't have to stop its operations in order to remove or clean away the dust particles from its filters.

Economical • The selection of a vertical cartridges dust collection systems is a very economical choice because it requires minimum maintenance. The maintenance is limited to a periodical replacement of vertical cartridges (depending the application), providing long-term profitability. • Thanks to the high efficiency of the filtering media, it is possible to filter a larger air volume with a smaller filtering surface. This allows us to manufacture smaller collectors. • The vertical dust collection systems operates with low pressure drops, between 1" and 3" of H2O. These values can be maintained by periodic cleaning that is controlled by a standard adjustable timer.

The dust-laden gases enter through the specially designed intake of the dust collection systems hopper, under vacuum or pressure.

The gases are then filtered through the vertical cartridges, and exit through the venturis, into the clean air plenum. The clean air can be exhausted outside or recirculated depending on the applica-tion.

OPERATION During normal operation, dirty air enters the Apzem collector through the top inlet and moves in a true downflow direction through the filter cartridges. Dust is collected on the outer surfaces of the cartridge elements. The clean air flows through the center of the elements into the air plenum and discharges through the outlet. During cleaning of the elements, a solid-state timer energizes air valves attached to a compressed air supply manifold. A burst of compressed air is released through the pulse pipes and orifices as a shock wave, which dislodges the dirt from the cartridges. The dislodged dirt falls freely into the hopper below for easy removal.
