regulatory violations. Oversaw all aspects of civil litigation insurance defense, with particular emphasis in

natural gas distributor in northern Illinois, serving more than 2.2 million customers. Investigated complex and routine claims brought against Nicor Gas in the ICC and claims
initiated by Nicor against contractors and excavators who damaged Nicor gas lines. Managed the investigation of stolen gas charges against various customers, in preparation of
bringing criminal and/or civil lawsuits. Represented Nicor at trial, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and ICC hearings. Litigated complex and routine claims in state court against various contractors for damages
incurred to Nicor underground facilities. Prepared monthly reports to track the amounts saved and expended on legal proceedings.
