HOW IT WORKS: Divers must complete 5 Specialty Courses and Rescue Diver certification to qualify.
If Divers already have Specialty or Rescue certifications - Specialty courses will be added to form the
balance of the required courses to qualify.
Divers must complete all courses and be signed off for their PADI Master Scuba Diver by Perth Scuba
between the 1st of December - 31st May 2013.
Certifying Instructors MUST be staff of Perth Scuba.
Final PADI Specialty Course MUST be completed at Perth Scuba.
Once qualified the diver will receive an Entry Pass to the “Ultimate Master Scuba Diver Challenge
Weekend”. The Weekend will consist of a number of dive skills, knowledge, stamina and tests to in a mini
Scuba Olympics to see who will be the Ultimate Master Scuba Diver of Perth Scuba.
By scoring the most points during the Ultimate Master Scuba Diver Challenge Weekend, the participant
(YOU) will become the Ultimate Master Scuba Diver Challenge winner!
Entry is free provided all requirements have been met by the participant.
THE ULTIMATE MASTER SCUBA DIVER CHALLENGE WINNER RECEIVES: A 2 night trip to Sydney accompanied by your certifying Instructor where you will visit the PADI Asia Pacific
Head Office to be presented with your trophy and certificate by the PADI Asia Pacific Directors.
You will then be driven to Scubapro HQ where you will meet the
General Manager of Scubapro Australia who will present you with
your new Scubapro Dive Package making you the “Scubapro
Product Ambassador for 2013/14”
Upon your return to Perth, you will commence your PADI Dive
Master course with Perth Scuba. PADI Dive Master Course with
Perth Scuba. Where you will be trained at the highest level to
become a PADI Professional and part of the Perth Scuba team!

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS COMPLETE THE NUMBER OF SPECIALTIES YOU NEED AND COMPLETE YOUR RESCUE DIVER LEVEL.
ONCE THIS IS DONE, YOUR ISTRUCTOR WILL SIGN YOU OFF AND YOU WILL BE PUT ONTO THE HALL OF FAME BOARD.
IF I ALREADY HAVE 5 SPECIALTIES BUT NOT MY RESCUE - IS THAT OK?
YES, YOU DO NEED YOUR RESCUE DIVER CERTIFICATION TO BECOME A MASTER SCUBA DIVER AND TO ENTER.
FOR THE ULTIMATE SCUBA DIVER WEEKEND, WILL I NEED TO BE A GOOD SWIMMER?
NOT NECCESSARILY. THERE WILL BE A WHOLE BUNCH OF EVENTS WHICH WILL REPRESENT POINTS TOWARDS YOUR TOTAL
SCORE.BUOYANCY CONTROL, GENERAL DIVING KNOWLEDGE, SWIMMING STAMINA AND DIVE SKILLS WILL ALL PLAY A PART
IN DETERMINING THE WINNER.
CAN MY CERTIFYING INSTRUCTOR COACH ME BEFORE THE CHALLENGE WEEKEND?
ABSOLUTELY. IT IS IN THEIR BEST INTEREST TO HELP YOU AND PRACTICE WITH YOU TO MAKE YOU THE BEST AS IF YOU
WIN, THEY WILL BE JOINING YOU ON THE TRIP TO SYDNEY. MAKE SURE YOUR CERTIFYING INSTRUCTOR IS GOING TO HELP
YOU BEFORE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR MSD CERTIFICATION.
