DIGITAL PRODUCT SUITE
PADI® APP
INTRODUCING THE REVAMPEDPADI® APP
The completely revamped PADI App is now available for Apple iOS- and Android-based devices and helps improve and increase user engagement, drive awareness of diving, and create a one-stop mobile experience for everything related to diving.
The PADI App is the hub of the PADI digital suite – a place where users can go for further information and access their purchased digital products via the PADI Library App, which is integrated into the PADI App.
Key features of the new PADI App include:• PADI Dive Shop and Resort Locator integration with ScubaEarth® dive sites.
• Top dive destinations and information about what divers can see there.
• PADI social media and dive news feeds.
• Information about PADI courses, including the option to purchase Touch products and PADI eLearning® programs.
• Dive tools, quick references (such as knots and hand signals), as well as a variety of dive planning checklists and reminders.
• The option to log dives within ScubaEarth® from the PADI App.
• Access to PADI eCards™.
• Direct link to the PADI Pros’ Site.
• Access to PADI Gear™ collections.
Current PADI App users will see the new features on their next update, while new users can visit the App Store or Google Play Store to download the application.

PADI® eCARD
TRIAL eCARD Free 30-Day Trial eCards for New PADI Divers
Newly certified PADI Divers receive a free trial eCard for their recent certifications. These eCards, valid for 30 days, provide an immediate certification confirmation that divers can use while waiting for their permanent certification cards. The existing process does not change – this is in addition to any existing temporary cards (good for 90 days) your divers receive.
The eCard presents a professional image and is convenient for divers because it’s on a mobile device. It also provides peace of mind because it is less likely to be accidentally lost or destroyed than a standard temporary card.
Here’s how it works:• Once certifications are processed, an email invites divers to
download their free eCard via the PADI App. Divers have 15 days to activate the eCard, but a plastic certification card is still produced and mailed.
• Divers use the emailed link to log on or register.
• The trial eCard is deleted after 30 days. A timer shows the remaining validity of the eCard.
• Divers continue to receive plastic PADI certification cards. PADI Members can also order eCards for their divers through the Online Processing Center once they complete PIC Online processing. This way your student divers will receive a permanent eCard before they receive their plastic certification card.

eTRAINING DIVE LOG
The eTraining Dive Log is a digital platform where PADI Open Water Diver course student divers can log their training dives via ScubaEarth. Once student divers log a training dive on scubaearth.com, the PADI App or the ScubaEarth App, it is sent to the PADI Instructor for approval. Instructors can approve or decline the dive logs. If instructors decline the dive log, student divers can edit the dive based on comments and resubmit it for final approval.
PADI Instructors receive an email when student divers have submitted eTraining Dive Logs. To approve or decline a log, they will need to sign in to the PADI Pros’ Site, select the Online Processing Center from the Online Services menu and scroll down to the Certification Paks section. Then, they can click on the eTraining Dive Log button to view pending dive logs.

SINGLE SIGN ONPADI Single Sign On (SSO) is an authentication process that allows users to access multiple PADI applications or websites with one set of login credentials. The main benefits are convenience and consolidation, helping users save time and effort with a single email and password combination to login.
PADI SSO uses an email address and password combination for authentication. Each account must have a unique email address, so stores and individual members can’t share an email address. All PADI Members must create a single sign on account to access the PADI Pros’ Site, ScubaEarth and other PADI Sites.
