The AUDION Floor-standing vaccum packers are designed for packaging larger products, eg. a leg of lamb or whole ham. With twin sealing bars and continuous vacuum pump, they will give the operator greater flexibility and improved workplace efficiency. The flat bed machines eg. Vacuum packaging optionsSoft-airSoft-air is the ideal function to enable fragile (e.g. fish)or sharp (e.g. T-bone) products to be packed withoutdamage. The air enters the vacuum chamber very gentlyafter the sealing process giving the vacuum bag timeto form around the fragile or sharp product. Damageto the product and/or the vacuum pouch is reduced. Anadditional benefit is that the product looks neater witha better formed package.

SensorWhen it’s important to obtain an exact vacuum or gaslevel we recommended a sensor. The standard machinenormally relies on a time cycle for the vacuum and gaslevels, which is accurate enough for most applications.However, when dealing with products that vary involume or density, a sensor ensures that each package is under the same level of vacuum.

Multi-cyclesSometimes it may be necessary to have a repeatedsequence of vacuuming and gassing. The multi-cyclesoption makes this possible with up to 8 processes inone cycle. All models (except VMS 43, 53, 113, and 133)can be equipped with the multi-cycle option. It is notpossible however to combine the multi-cycle with the sensor option.

Code SealText can be imprinted in the seal area which maybe useful to impart a message or offer security. Theadvantage of text in the seal is that it remains intactuntil the bag is opened. The code seal is only possible incombination with the 8mm seal.

Gas FlushingAdding gas to the package is a way of extending theshelf life of the product. The product, and the spacearound it in the chamber are vacuumised as normal.Usually after the vacuuming process the bag is sealed;but with gas flushing the pouch is injected with a gas orgas mixture. When the desired volume of gas is reachedthe bag is then sealed. This gives a very low residualoxygen percentage and the product is no longer undervacuum pressure.

Gas Flush SystemsOn the Audion Vacuum machines there are two options available when it comes to Gas-flushing solutions:

1. The gas-flush timer which inerts a gas mixture into your package for a set amount of time.

2. The gas-flush pressure timer, the machine will continue with this function till the set pressure levels are achieve. This feature helps to reduce the variations of gas when the gas bottle is full or empty.

Sous-vide cooking is also commonly known as low temperature cooking.

We use a GRAVURE PRINT which is a high quality system used for reproducing high resolution photographs and company logos. The quality obtainable is quite remarkable. The barrier material is first extruded, and then printed and finally laminated with an overlay which traps the print. As the print is trapped, it is virtually indestructible.

EXCEL Shrink Bags

The 9-layer material is created by a triple-bubble extrusion process without the use of lamination, meaning our structured layers are compounded on top of each other, not glued, creating a much more durable product. The EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol) is a copolymer with a very low permeability to oxygen. The vacuum shrink mechanics helps create a 2nd skin around the product keeping its juices in and microorganisms out, while keeping the products form intact.

The EXCEL Shrink bag range includes:1. EXCELfresh 45: 45µ thickness with fine EVOH protection with high shrink rates, gloss, and transparency.

Flow Wrapping

These labeling units are Semi-automatic. Once the label touches the micro-switch it stops, you then pick up the label until it dispenses completely, when the next label hits the switch it stops. APT-100 Peel Tester

APT-100 is a device for measuring tensile strength of seals made with various packaging material, including medical bags. This device is built in accordance with the ASTM F88-00 regulation. The device clamps a specimen and pulls the seal apart, measuring the tensile strength with loadcell 100 times per second. The data’s can be transferred to PC and printed out as peel test report for one of your validation processes.

ATMAccurate temperature measurementIn order to facilitate your validation process, we developed the ATM. With this sophisticated device, you can measure the temperature between the sealing wires and calibrate the machine in accordance with the measured values.

Accordingly to validation processes, the seal temperature needs to be calibated after changing a sealing wire in the machine. With the Audion ATM device this will now be a very easy operation to do.

The ATM can be used for our MEDSEALERS MSID(V) and for the Power Sealers in MED version.
