Dispersion Trench

4 3 Providing dispersion trench of width 1mtr and

necessary depth with open jointed stoneware pipes of

100mm dia with specials, filtering media, bamboo

matting etc., as follows: (A) Earth excavation in the

strata met with for trenches of 1m width and required

depth including dewatering subsoil and rain water to

keep the area of excavation dry, shoring and strutting

wherever necessary, trimming bottom and levelling to

correct grade and alignment and back filling trenches

with selected excavated material upto a lead of 50m as

specified and directed, supplying and dry filling granite

stone metal of 20mm maximum size including

depositing neatly in layers and level to width of one

metre and depth of 0.45m as directed. (B) Stoneware

glazed pipes and specials of 100mm dia such as tees,

bends etc., as per IS 651 and laying in loose jointswithout any jointing materials,sockets facing down the

gradient with a slope of 1 in 300, open joints held in

place by suitable stone wedges to proper line and level

etc., complete all as specified and directed

C) Supplying and dry filling of granite stone metal

12mm average size including depositing neatly in

layers and levels of dimensions 1m x 0.15m for filter

beds as specified and directed. (D) supply and laying

in position two layers of bamboo matting with surface

treated with bitumen and joints staggered on filter beds

all as directed and specified. (E) Supply and laying of

one layers of 1000 gauge (250 microns) thick LDPE

film conforming to IS 2508 - 1977 over the bamboo

matting all as specified and directed.
