Greg D. Corbin, Program Co-Chair, a partner with Stoel Rives LLP, leads the firm's Forest Industries Initiative and represents forest products clients in a variety of transactional and regulatory matters, including many of the day-to-day operational issues faced by the forest products industry.

Cassie Phillips, Program Co-Chair, Vice President of Sustainable Forestry with Weyerhaeuser Company in Federal Way, Washington, is an internationally recognized expert on sustainable forestry. She is responsible for Weyerhaeuser’s strategies on forest stewardship, regulation and voluntary certification.

Galen G. Schuler, Program Co-Chair, is Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Affairs for Green Diamond Resource Company in Seattle, a privately held forest products company that owns and manages over 1.3 million acres of working forest lands in California, Oregon, and Washington.

Robin Barr is Director, Americas, with The Forest Trust in Seattle. She works with international brands, multinational commodity processors and producing companies in the palm oil, pulp and paper packaging and solid wood sectors to develop responsible global supply chains.

Svend A. Brandt-Erichsen, managing partner with Marten Law PLLC in Seattle, has served as an environmental attorney for 25 years. He previously spent 20 years in private practice and, before that, was Regional Administrator of the State of Alaska, Department of Environmental Conservation.

Heath Curtiss is General Counsel and Director of Government Affairs for the Oregon Forest Industries Council, a trade association representing Oregon’s industrial timberland owners and forest products industries.

Lawson Fite is a staff attorney with the American Forest Resource Council. He is one of the leaders of AFRC's legal program, helping member companies obtain their goal of consistent and sustainable timber harvest from National Forests.

Doug Grafe is Chief of the Protection Division, Department of Forestry, State of Oregon. He began his career with the Department in 2003. He has served as a professional forester for 21 years with a variety of organizations, including Georgia Pacific and the U.S. Forest Service.

Eva Greger is the founder and Managing Director of Renewable Resources with GMO LLC in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to founding the Renewable Resources group in 1997, she was Vice President of Timberlands for UBS Resource Investments International.

Russell Hoeflich is Vice President and Senior Policy Advisor with The Nature Conservancy in its Restoring America’s Forests Program. He is responsible for advancing strategies to rebuild resiliency into 200 million acres of America’s Federal forests.

Mike Jostrom, Director of Renewable Resources for Plum Creek Timber Company in Seattle, is responsible for growing Plum Creek’s renewable energy business and ensuring that the environmental and carbon benefits of sustainable forestry and wood products are recognized by the marketplace.

Kirk B. Maag, an environmental and natural resources attorney with Stoel Rives LLP, advises clients in natural resource-dependent industries. He focuses his practice on water rights and related transactions, real property transactions in the timber and agricultural industries, and local, state, and federal regulations affecting the storage, transportation, disposal, and cleanup of solid and hazardous materials and wastes.

Andrew Elsbree is Vice President and General Manager of Oregon Operations with Green Diamond Resource Company. Prior to joining Green Diamond in 2008, he owned A&D Forestry Services for close to 14 years, providing operational, biological and financial services.

Diane M. Meyers, a shareholder with Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP in Seattle, serves on the firm’s Executive Committee. She has over a decade of commercial litigation experience, particularly in insurance coverage and environmental and natural resources matters.

Reid A. Miner is Vice President of Sustainable Manufacturing with the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement, Inc. in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. He is a chemical engineer and has been with NCASI for 41 years.

William “Chip” Murray is Vice President of Policy and General Counsel for the National Alliance of Forest Owners in Washington, DC. He practices natural resource and environmental law, primarily involving issues and litigation related to management of both private and federal forestland.

Christopher I. Ridley-Thomas, RP.Bio, EP (EMSLA), CPA, CA, is a partner with KPMG in Vancouver, BC and leads the delivery of the firm’s sustainable forest management, greenhouse gas and environmental management services.

Tanya M. Sanerib is a senior attorney in the Center for Biological Diversity in its Endangered Species Program. She has extensive experience practicing in federal court working with scientists, and litigating matters under the Endangered Species Act.

Thomas R. Wood, a partner with Stoel Rives LLP, has significant experience in the areas of air quality and hazardous waste permitting and compliance.
